- Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and 2 o'clock at Our Saviour's Lutheran church, Rev. J. M. Mason officiating, for Ole B. Olson, who passed away at his home on South Eighth street Thursday, Sept. 6, following an illness of nine months from cancer. Interment was made in the Montevideo cemetery. Ole B. Olson was born November 28, 1868, in Kandiyohi county, Minnesota. He was married in 1895 to Anna Brown. To this union five boys and two girls were born, Oscar, Cornelius, Orville, Melford and Ruth at Montevideo; Arthur, now of Chicago, Ill., Oliver of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Bertha Shimp of Naperville, Ill. Besides his wife and children he is survived by three brothers, Ed. O. of Montevideo; John of Larson, N. D., Oles of Canada, two sisters, Mrs. Nels Gunderson and Mrs. Martin Gunderson of Larson, N. S., and four grandchildren. Those from out of town who attended the services were Arthur Olson of Chicago, Mrs. Bertha Shimp and daughter Shirley Mae of Naperville, Mrs. Oliver Olson and daughter Dorothy Ann of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Nels Gunderson of Larson, N. D.
