Haugtrø Farm, Steinkjer, Norway

This is the farm that Ole Christiansen Haug and his wife and five sons lived on in Norway. The total area is approximately 15 acres. It is easy to see why, with such a small farm and five sons to distribute it among, they immigrated to the U.S. in 1857.
