- Arthur Desrosiers, 56, Ashland, passed away Monday, August 26, 2002, at his home, with his family at his side. He was born July 2, 1946, in Superior, the son of John and Hazel Desrosiers.
In 1964, he graduated from Drummond High School as valedictorian of his class. In 1968, he graduated with honors from UW-Madison and in 1970, he received a masters degree in engineering. As a young man, Art grew up in Barnes, where he owned and operated AJ's Repair. He had a passion for motors, racing stock cars, painting vintage cars, and restoring a 1970 IHC, which was his pride and joy. Art worked for various engineering firms and was recognized for meticulous attention to detail. Until his illness, he owned and operated Arthur Desrosiers P.E./RLS. Art's incredible knowledge solved many of his friends and family's mechanical, structural, and electrical problems. After careful contemplation, he would solve your problem.
{He is survived by his five children, Stephen, Nathan, and Mackenzie "Bug" Desrosiers, and Sandra and Kelli Ludack; five grandchildren, Matthew, Tanner, Trista, Miranda, and Brandon; friends, John and Debbie Hagan and Cindi and Tim Pliss; niece, Ciara Pliss; and nephews, Jolan and Zachary Pliss.}
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John "Babe" Desrosiers; and a sister, Darlene Minor.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Gordon Memorial Cemetery, Gordon.
Arrangements are by the Frost Home for Funerals, Ashland. [4]
