Mrs. Maria Antoinette Jerome, wife of Moses A. Jerome and granddaughter of Mrs. Susan Ann Gale, one of Yonkers' early settlers, died yesterday at the age of sixty-two at her home, 104 McLean Avenue, after a short illness. The daughter of Abram and Irene Gale Schultz, Mrs. Jerome, herself, had been a lifelong resident of this city. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Ernest Gale Jerome, U.S. Coast Guard, Charles D. Jerome of Yonkers, and Jeremiah James Jerome of Ossining; one brother, Abram E.Schultz of Yonkers, and one grandson. [1, 2]
