- Elzie Trease Notestine, 23, died late yesterday at his home at Rogers of a heart ailment. Funeral arrangements, in charge of Nelson-Savage here, are incomplete pending word from members of the family. Born Dec. 29, 1917 at Burdette, Kans., Notestine had lived in Rogers since 1920. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Notestine, who with two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Mildred Combs of California and Mrs. Laverne Vaugh and Cecil H. Notestine of Washington state survive. [2]
