Agnes Caroline Anderson was born on April 9, 1901 in Fortier Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota to Gilbert and Caroline (Olson) Groven. She was baptized and confirmed at St . Stephen Lutheran Church and she attended rural school in Fortier Township. On June 29, 1925 she married Edmund T. Anderson at Clear Lake, South Dakota. They lived in Canby, Hanley Falls, MN, Weslaco, Texas and returned to Hanley Falls in 1942. Edmund died in 1952 and in 1956 Agnes moved to Canby. She has been a resident of Senior Haven Nursing Home since April of 1983. She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Canby and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts.
Agnes is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Andersen of Campbell, California and Adeline Bujarski of Minneapolis, MN; seven grandchildren: Steven Bujarski of Minneapolis, MN; Julie Heiskary of Rockford, MN; Michael Bujarski of Florida; Marcus Andersen of Hawaii; Lisa Purrington of Washington; Erica Gregory of California and Ian Andersen of California. Also surviving are seven greatgrandchildren; three sisters; Gida Hasner of Canby; Frances Lacin a of Colorado Springs, CO; and Helen Moore of Aitkin, MN and one brother,Clarence Groven of Kensett, Iowa and her adopted daughter Barbara Rosa of Canby.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Edmund; one sister and four brothers.

She also loved to , crochetand did a lot of upholstering and furniture refinishing. He , was alicensed electrical engineer and car mechanic., , Agnes moved to Canby after Edmund died and lived there until , herdeath, moving to the Senior Haven Nursing Home about 4 years , beforeher death.
