- Married Mary Godwin, dau. of George. She m. (2) Joseph Seeley, and rem. to Cohansey, N. J.
Inv. 31 Oct. 1681. Widow Mary; one son and four daus. Father Henry living. Matthew Sherwood and Samuel Morehouse appointed overseers. On 12 Apr. 1687, Joseph Seeley, now husband of the widow, was to receive the portions for the five children. On 17 Mar. 1687, Hannah Galpin, dau. of Henry Jackson, testified that portion given by George Godwin to his dau. Mary, sometime wife of Joseph Jackson, had been paid. Francis Bradley receipted 1704 to Joseph Seeley for his wife's portion in Est. of her father Joseph Jackson, Sr. Capt. Matthew Sherwood and Lt. James Bennett, Sr., overseers of Est. of Joseph Jackson, receipted 1698/9 to Joseph Seeley late of Fairfield, for portion of Abigail Jackson, now wife of Daniel Bradley.
