  Notes	Children: Jeriel, Samuel, Gamaliel, Stephen. Possible son Othniel, m. Jerusha Johnson 15 Aug 1763, Newtown Ebenezer seemed to be relegated below younger brother Gamaliel in his father's will. He received less than eldest son Samuel and third brother Gamaliel. Also, Samuel and Gamaliel were made executors rather than Samuel and Ebenezer. Ebenezer French Probate Packet No. 2268, town of Stratford, 1773, Fairfield Probate District does not appear to be for our Ebenezer. Bond is posted on 7 Sep 1773 by Othniel French as administrator of the estate, but we have no source of Othniel as a son or relative of Ebenezer. Jacobus says Ebenezer died after 1764, but he apparently found no evidence of Ebenezer after that date. An inventory of Ebenezer's estate was taken on 13 Sep 1773 by Othniel, Administrator, and proved in Fairfield Probate Court on 17 Dec 1773, but nothing in the Inventory proves that he is our Ebenezer [9, 10, 11]
