- John Anderson was born in Syracuse, NE and moved the same as Gene until his senior year in high school when he went to Chillicothe, MO to take care of his grandfather Goodlou Grouse's farm. He graduated from Chillicothe, MO high school. He completed 3-1/2 years of Civil Engineering at Colorado Aggies. When WW II started, he joined the Aviation cadets and after graduation flew tours in B-17s in England and then to P-47 fighters in Hawaii. He earned a BS in Aero-Mechanical Engnr., and an MS in Research & Development Mgmt. Later he earned an MS in Business Admin. from George Washington University. He spent a total of 31 years in Air Force reasearch and development. He retired a Colonel and went to work for Hughes Aircraft in Iran, Pakistan and Brussels, Belgium. Retired from Hughes after 13 years and lives in Cypress with wife and four children
