Blanche Prendergast of 420 Eagle St., North Adams, died this morning at North Adams Regional Hospital following a short illness. She was the wife of Thomas F. Prendergast, a member of the North Adams License Commission. She was born In North Adams, a daughter of Ernest and Agnes Jerome. She was a lifelong resident of hte city and attended schoools here. Mrs. Prendergast was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, North Adams. Besides hew husband, she leaves two daughters, {Constance J. Carey of Ware, and Dr. Patricia Prendergast, director of teacher education at North adams State College}; two granddaughters{, Lisa Carey and Lynne Wilkins, both of Boston}. Interment will be in the family lot at Southview Cemetery, North Adams. [9, 10, 11, 12]
