      Mrs. Charlotte A. MacPherson, 81 widow of Angus R. MacPherson, a member of one of the most esteemed families in North Adams, died this morning at 12.05 o'clock at her home, 80 Prospect street, following a long illness from complictions which became critical about three weeks ago. Mrs. MacPherson was born in North Adams and had made her home here all of her life. She was one of the oldest members of St. John's Episcopal church and for many years was one of its most active members. She was highly regarded as a kind and a sincere friend and had an unusual number of friends. Mrs. MacPherson leaves three sons, Robert H. and John R. MacPherson of this city and Wallace A. MacPherson of Farnumsville and three brothers, all of North Adams, George Montgomery, one of the last two surviving Grand Army veterans in North Adams, Benjamin Montgomery and former Fire Chief Henry J. Montgomery of this city. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in St. John's Episcopal church. Rev. Arthur Murray, rector of the church, will officiate. The body will be placed in the vault to await interment in the spring. [1, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16]
