  Notes	Valleyview residents were saddened by the sudden death of O. P. Mindrum who died minutes after being stricken with a heart attack while at work. He had been in indifferent health for some time. A large crowd attended the funeral services which were held in the Elks hall. Rev W. Hoffman of DeBolt United Church, conducted the service. The casket was banked with floral wreaths. Burial was in the Vallleyview cemetery. Pallbearers were O. Boderquist, P. Bylsma, W. Brown, Carl Halvorson, P. Peters and Dave Williamson. Born in Rushford, Minn., in 1881, Mr. Mindrum moved to Matador, Sask., in 1916 where he engaged in farming. In 1942 he moved with his wife to Valleyview where he resided until his death. He served as manager of the Valleyview Co-op store for some years. He was active in political and social activities in the community. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and nine children: Arne, Earl and Mrs. Florence Caldwell of the Valleyview district; Mrs. George Velie of De Bolt; Gladys, Westlock; Nina, Taber; Percy, Calgary; Orlando, Berkeley, California and May, Oak Lawn, Ill. 1885 MN State Census, Fillmore County, Town of Norway, p. 25, Peter M.
